Located on the corner of 70th and Glisan in northeast Portland, HANKBUILT is a multi-disciplinary, full-service workshop, specializing in the fields of art, architecture, branding, design and fabrication. Our approach is collaborative and hands-on, stemming from a curious DIY attitude and a passion for the creative process. From your favorite tee shirt and your neighbors coffee table, to trade-show exhibits and large scale mobile marketing displays for the most recognizable brands. We’ve imagined, designed and built, small and large projects alike.

A few things that keep us inspired as well as get us through the days, in no particular order and in no way limited; good coffee, the mountains, the river, open spaces, family and friends, paper and pencil, worn jeans, plaid flannels, two wheels spinning, tight grain, slow growth, the ocean, the fire, fear, hope, progress, failure, great design, bad design, gravel roads, midnight highways, cold beer, warm whiskey, the breeze, the trees, a pat on the back and a slap on the face.
